Having a wedding featured in Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style Magazine is always special. And having this wedding featured in the 2010 New England Issue was just as sweet! Earlier this month I blogged about Jessica and Scott’s wedding on Cape Cod and it was fantastic to see it actually in print! And seriously guys, the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream surprise brought in at the end of the wedding was a super cool touch!

Jessica and her husband Scott are just simply put, fantastic people. They have become good friends over the years and I am truly fortunate to know them outside of the wedding industry. Jessica (managing editor of grace ormonde Wedding Style magazine) works with a lot of amazing photographers both locally and from around the world on a regular basis and when she asked the question, “Are you open the weekend of October 9th?”, I was truly humbled and honored that she thought of us. Thank you Jess and Scott for allowing us to be such a close and important part of your wedding day!

Probably one of our favorite venues on Cape Cod for a wedding is definitely the Chatham Bars Inn. Rain or shine, we love this venue! Alyssa & Scott did have some rain on their day, but the wedding was a blast and we were still able to squeeze in time to get outside for some photos. Enjoy!!!

Alyssa and Scott had an amazing wedding (which I will be posting later on this week) and their rehearsal dinner / clambake at the Chatham Bars Inn Beach House was quintessential Cape Cod. From the invitations, lobster lollipops, to the bride’s sailor inspired dress the details were simple and just perfect. Guests danced all night to a bluegrass band and enjoyed the beautiful ocean views that the Chatham Bars Inn Beach House offers.

We are kicking off our NEW and UPDATED BLOG with a super colorful May 2009 wedding on Cape Cod!
Held at the Chatham Bars Inn, Liz and Dan planned most of their wedding themselves right down to the little details. From the vendor coordination to the programs and place cards designed by hand, they successfully pulled off a fresh, very fun and vibrant looking wedding. The ceremony was held outside on the Croquet Court lawn (with the ocean in the distance of course) and the reception inside the Beach House Grill.
