Halloween Costumes | Charity Event | Room to Grow

A 1000 Thank Yous to all of those who came out to see us and support the Room to Grow organization. And for anyone who couldn’t make it but would still love to make a donation, feel free to contact me directly brian@brianphillipsphoto.com and we could set up a time to meet at the studio in the next week or two for a quick shoot.

Here is a sampling of the super fun kids that made it. And yes, that is our son Mateo in the cow costume. Of course my child was the only one to cry. But nothing a pumpkin munchkin couldn’t fix.

Also many thanks to the help and coordination from our good friend and past client Steffanie Merloni, and donations made by Russo’s market in Waltham for the pumpkin donation, and Riverside Management Group / Dunkin Donuts, who generously donated the munchkins and coffee. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Stephanie & Salvi | Wedding | InterContinental Boston

Just a wonderful wonderful wedding I have been meaning to share that we shot at the InterContinental Hotel in Boston at the tail end of last season. Exquisitely planned and designed by Michele Mottola and her staff. Stephanie and Sal were married at a hidden gem of a Church in Somerville, St. Catherines of Genoa Parish. There were many notable details to this wedding including a custom made dance floor, table settings adorned with giant crystal candelabras, a 60ft long headtable, and a guest appearance by Nicholas Marks, who played the Gypsy Guitar like it was his last show ever.

Also a special thanks goes out to our assistant shooter for the day, Nicole Chan of Nicole Chan Photography. Simply a pleasure to work with and on point with beautiful photos, many displayed below.  Thank you Nicole for helping out Brian Phillips Photography!

Boston Skyline | End of the World | May 21st Fog

Just after a photoshoot this past Saturday at MIT (about 5PM) I was walking back to my car parked near the Charles and saw this errie looking, low dark cloud passing by the Prudential Bldg.. Mind you, in the back of my mind was the fact that the day was the much hyped May 21st, End of the World Day. I must admit my mind raced around for a little bit. Hey, the fog was really dark and definitely a sight I haven’t seen before in Boston.
