Alyssa and Scott had an amazing wedding (which I will be posting later on this week) and their rehearsal dinner / clambake at the Chatham Bars Inn Beach House was quintessential Cape Cod. From the invitations, lobster lollipops, to the bride’s sailor inspired dress the details were simple and just perfect. Guests danced all night to a bluegrass band and enjoyed the beautiful ocean views that the Chatham Bars Inn Beach House offers.

Throughout the year we photograph a good amount of kids and families. And I just love coming across sequence pictures like these that show the interaction and humor between siblings. I just dream of having photos like below of my brother and I when we were young and little terrors. So I think that a lot of my passion for photography comes from creating fun images like these as well as knowing of the joy and laughter it will bring the parents and the subjects for many many years to come.

Aynslie & Matt | Wedding | Lyman Estate

With my wedding season dying down now, I have had a lot more time to blog with lots of great posts planned and coming soon. We shot this Lyman Estate Wedding this past August and it was the perfect setting for this victorian-esque themed wedding. The Lyman Estate, tucked away in Waltham, MA, is a grand mansion set amidst extensive lawns and gardens. Notably, it is where the waltz was introduced to Boston society in their ballroom.

Michelle & Jonathan | Wedding | Belle Mer – Newport

Given the crazy weather this summer, Michelle and Jonathan were definitely blessed with their beautiful day. Newport Rhode Island is one of our favorite places to photograph weddings and their Belle Mer wedding reception was truly nothing short of extraordinary! Congratulations you guys!!!

Andrea & Dennis | Wedding | Mandarin Oriental Boston

Wow!!! What an amazing new venue in Boston. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, located right across from Priscilla of Boston on Boylston Street, is just a wonderful new addition to an already great collection of downtown Boston venues. And we were honored that Andrea and Dennis choose us to photograph their wedding in the venue’s inaugural year.

Andrea and Dennis went all out with great touches for their Mandarin Oriental wedding from Handmade gift baskets, custom made groomsmen tuxedo shirts, a photoboot from Siagel Productions, and lots of accesories by Kleinfeld’s. The bride and groom will be honeymooning at the One & Only in Reeti Rah Maldives!!! Uhmmm… can you say “Jealous”?
